Model mapping does not apply when connecting a Copilot subscription - CC Switch
Quick fix
Upgrade to v3.15.0 or newer to fix the Copilot subscription model mapping not applying.
Symptom
Section titled “Symptom”全部调用的是claude系列模型,并且似乎无法更改Everything called is a claude-family model, and it seems impossible to change
In cc-switch v3.14.1 and earlier, connecting a GitHub Copilot subscription and configuring a model mapping to something outside the Claude family fails to apply those mapping rules. Whatever the configuration, requests from Claude Code and similar tools always end up calling a claude-family model underneath rather than the expected Copilot or other model.
This was fixed in code in v3.15.0. If it persists after upgrading, check the config file syntax or file a new issue with logs.
Uninstall your current version of cc-switch, then download and install v3.15.0 or newer.
Reload or restart Claude Code and verify the model mapping applies as expected.

- Why does it still call Claude when I configured a Copilot model?
- This is a known bug in v3.14.1 where the model mapping logic does not run correctly. Upgrade to v3.15.0+ for the fix.
- What if it still errors after upgrading?
- Reopen the issue and add the latest version number, reproduction steps, and the relevant logs so it can be investigated further.
