On the add provider page, search results cannot be clicked to select - cc-switch
Quick fix
Update to a version with the UI fix. As a stopgap, Tab to the preset after searching and press Enter to select it.
Symptom

On the CC Switch add provider page, typing a keyword to search provider presets and then clicking a result clears the keyword without selecting the target preset — while Tab-and-Enter in the same situation selects it fine, showing the defect is in the mouse click handling for search results. Maintainers confirmed and closed it with a PR. The version records in the input do not give the exact version the PR landed in, so update to the latest if you want the fix through an upgrade.
The same page has other variants with different triggers: on macOS 12.2, selecting most providers makes every element on the app page disappear, and a user recovered after upgrading to macOS 12.7.6; in Claude Desktop 3.19.0 the "+" add provider button at the top right is missing, which users attribute to the new project button crowding the layout — closing some apps on the main screen or widening the window restores it temporarily; and users on 3.17.0 also report Claude Desktop not letting them add a provider. These variants all cluster around the add-provider entry point and selection flow but do not share one root cause.
Update cc-switch to the latest version and reopen the add provider page. The search selection problem was closed with an associated PR, so upgrading avoids the broken mouse click.
Workaround: after typing a keyword, press Tab to move to the provider preset you want and press Enter to select it — the search keyword is not cleared.
If selecting a provider on macOS 12.2 makes every page element disappear, upgrade macOS to 12.7.6 or newer (a user verified this restores normal behaviour).
If the "+" button is missing at the top right in Claude Desktop, close some of the apps shown on the main screen, or drag the CC Switch window wider so the button has room to display.
