About this site

ccswitch.wiki is an unofficial, community-maintained wiki. It collects troubleshooting knowledge from the public GitHub issues of the open-source project cc-switch.

This site has no affiliation with, sponsorship from, or endorsement by the cc-switch authors or the project itself. The project name is used only to identify where the collected content comes from.

The homepage says “361 topic pages · distilled from 1,623 real issues”, while the cc-switch repository holds more than four thousand issues. The gap is not something we missed — it is several deliberate filters. Layer by layer:

4,893Issues in the repositoryPull requests excluded. Spanning 2025-08-26 to 2026-08-29, with 12,847 comments also ingested
1,153Of those, feature requests"Please support X" and "It would be nice to add X" are not failures, so this site builds no troubleshooting pages for them
3,740Troubleshooting denominatorTotal minus feature requests — this is the range the site could in principle cover
2,274Assigned to a cluster that became a pageThe same problem gets reported over and over; clustering merges those reports, and one cluster yields one page
1,728Issues actually listed on pagesThis is the number on the homepage. Cluster members that are clearly off-topic (a different root cause, or a feature request riding along) are left out of Source Issues
234Only in the long-tail indexSolved and discussed, but not repeated often enough for a page of their own — listed under "More solved problems" as links to the original threads

So 361 topic pages cover 1728 issues, roughly 46% of the troubleshooting denominator. What is left out is mostly one-off reports, or cases that still have no conclusion. Counted as of 2026-08-29, refreshed with every data sync.

Everything comes from the public issues and comments in the cc-switch repository. The Source Issues section at the bottom of each problem page links back to every original issue, so you can check the context yourself.

Content pages are generated by a data pipeline and refreshed periodically. The Last updated stamp at the bottom of a page is when that page was last synced.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to see basic usage: page views, scroll depth, and outbound clicks. Ad storage, Google Signals, and ad personalization are all off. Page URLs have their query strings and fragments stripped before being sent, and no analytics events are sent at all when the browser has Do Not Track enabled.

The numbers are used only to tell which troubleshooting content is needed most. They are not used for ad targeting or user profiling.

Always install and upgrade from official channels:

If a page is wrong or out of date, add a comment on the source issue, or raise it in the cc-switch repository. This site will pick it up on the next sync.
